Thanks for visiting! I learned carpentry during the pandemic, apprenticing with a long-time friend and master carpenter who instilled an attention to detail and pride in my work. After spending 2025 taking on more and more of my own carpentry/handyman jobs, my girlfriend and I moved to Asheville. It was August — just in time for the floods! 

I've made my living as professional photographer for over 20 years, and was planning to transition back to real estate photography. Because of the hurricane, opportunities in real estate paused while the need for carpenters became urgent. So I pivoted.

For small jobs I work by myself, and for bigger jobs I work with my colleague Justin McCallister of Ridgecraft Renovations. 

Why "Home Sale" Handyman?

Having just gone through the process of buying a house in Weaverville, I realized that most home buyers need a handyman to prepare the house for inspection and to fix the items that fail inspection. Buyers often need touch-ups on the house, as well.

As a businessman, I realized that if I developed relationships with realtors I could build both of my businesses. Realtors need stunning photography — and they can refer me to buyers and sellers who need repairs or upgrades!
